If helplessness and the fear that you "don't control anything" have "fallen" on you, it is very important to regain the feeling that there is something in your life that you can still influence. Try this exercise. Pay attention to your feet (as I stand on the ground and it holds me, gives me support) and concentrate on breathing. Just watch how you breathe in and out, in in and out. Next, try to change the pace of your breathing (for example, slow it down or make it deeper). Can you do it? So, breathing is something you can influence in your life.

During stress and anxiety, the hormones cortisol, adrenaline and norepinephrine are produced in the body. It is necessary to help the body to remove their excess amount: for this, it is necessary to drink more water.
