Special animated series "Ukraine. Unconquered Cities. True Story"

The animation project tells about Ukrainian cities that suffered during the Russian war in Ukraine. In particular, the 5-minute episodes talk about historical monuments in the context of modern reality, which creates a parallel between the past and the present. In particular, the new season will introduce children to such cities as Mariupol, Luhansk, Kherson, Donetsk, as well as the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

So, in the series about Crimea, the main characters Quadrik, Trikutya and Kruzhko are transported to ancient times, when the peninsula was inhabited by Greeks, and they meet Herodotus. Next, they will learn how the Crimean Khanate was formed and how Ukrainians began to move to the territory of the peninsula. The heroes watch the dramatic history of the indigenous people — the Crimean Tatars, whom Russia has been trying to evict from their homeland throughout history.

In the series about Mariupol, the PLUSPLUS heroes learn that the first settlements in the city existed long before the emergence of Moscow. The friends travel through time, are transported to the Cossack era and debunk the Russian myth about the founding of the city allegedly as far back as the 18th century. In addition, they learn how Empress Catherine destroyed the Cossacks and began to resettle foreigners on these lands. And then Quadrik, Trikutya and Kruzhko return to modern times and witness the heroism of the soldiers from Azovstal.

Special animated series "Ukraine. Unconquered Cities. True Story"

The series about Luhansk begins with the journey of the main characters to the Luhansk Stonehenge - the same age as the Egyptian pyramids. Further, they are transferred in time to Cossack settlements and learn that the city itself was formed not at all thanks to the Russian Empire, but thanks to a Scottish entrepreneur who founded a foundry here. Friends observe how the empire, and later the Soviet Union, tried to destroy everything Ukrainian and plant Russian here, but the local population always resisted this, even after the occupation since 2014.

Also, in the series about Kherson, friends debunk the Russian myth about the foundation of the city by Empress Catherine, because the Greeks lived on these lands since the 6th century BC. And since the 11th century, an important port of Kievan Rus was located here. Moreover, the first mention of the Cossacks is also connected with the Kherson lands. After that, Kvadrik, Trikutya and Kruzhko return to our time and observe how the brave Khersons survived the Russian occupation in 2022, and then a real ecological disaster.

The last episode of the season tells about Donetsk, where the heroes travel through the history of the city from the most cave people, nomads to the Cossack era. Visiting the Cossack farms, they learn that the Cossacks settled here long before the arrival of the empire, so the myth about Russian Donetsk is just another fake. Eventually, a British entrepreneur founded a factory here, which is how the official history of the city began. Kvadrik, Trikutya and Kruzhko observe how the Russians tried to destroy the Ukrainian culture and language in these lands, but the people of Donetsk protected their heritage. Later, the main characters are transferred to our time and learn about the heroic defense of the Donetsk airport by our soldiers.
