Recently, the whole world celebrated International Youth Mental Health Day, a day that reminds us of the importance of emotional balance and self-support in the modern world. Adolescence is a time of searching for oneself, when the pressure of society, social networks, and one's own expectations can become a real challenge.
As part of this day, VLADA K, together with BRICKTOPIA, is launching a special initiative to remind you of the importance of connecting with your inner child. Taking care of mental health starts with paying attention to your feelings, being able to enjoy simple things, and maintaining sincerity regardless of age.
What helps you maintain inner balance when there is so much stress and instability around?
I learned not to keep everything to myself. When something worries you, it is important to find a way to release it - through music, sports, communication with loved ones or even just the opportunity to be alone with your thoughts. It is important to give yourself time to rest and not demand that you be productive 24/7. It also helps to understand that not everything in life depends on us, and sometimes the best thing to do is to accept the situation, focus on yourself and your development.
How do music and creativity affect your emotional state? Can you say that this is your therapy?
Music is my biggest support and way to express myself. This can definitely be called therapy, because when I write songs or sing, I experience all my feelings, and do not hide them deeper inside. Through creativity, it is possible to give vent to joy, pain, and even anger - simply turn these emotions into something special. It is very important for me to know that my music can resonate with other people, help them experience similar moments, give a feeling of support.
What does "self-care" mean to you? What rituals or habits help you stay in the resource?
Taking care of yourself is not only about looking after your appearance, it is primarily about your inner state and attention to your needs. For me, it's about the balance between activity and rest. I try to regularly find time for myself: listen to my favorite music, draw, walk in nature or just turn off the phone and stay in silence. It is very important not to ignore your feelings - if I feel tired or emotionally exhausted, I do not ask to "endure" it, but allow myself a pause. This is real care — being able to listen to yourself and respond to your needs.

Did you have to feel pressure because of society's expectations or because of your publicity? How do you learn to set personal boundaries?
Yes, this is an inevitable part of publicity. People can expect you to meet certain standards or impose their opinion on what you should be. But I realized that it's impossible for everyone to like it, and that's normal. My main rule is to listen to myself. If I feel that something goes beyond my comfort, I am not afraid to say "no". Learn to set personal boundaries — this is very important, because without it it is easy to get lost in other people's expectations and forget about your own desires and values.
Often, teenagers are afraid to talk about their emotions or ask for help. How to overcome this fear and not be ashamed of what you have experienced?
I understand this fear, because sometimes it seems that if you talk about your experiences, you may not be understood or taken seriously. But in fact, all people experience difficulties from time to time, just not everyone talks about it. It is very important to find someone you trust - it can be friends, family, or even a psychologist. You don't need to be afraid to show your emotions, because they are part of us, and hiding them only creates even greater internal discomfort.
Why is it important to keep the "child" inside yourself?
The children's part of us is about sincerity, freedom, and the ability to enjoy little things. In the modern world, we often try to be serious, to meet other people's expectations, but this does not mean that we should forget about lightness, dreaminess and interest in life. This is exactly what our collaboration with the BRICKTOPIA brand is about - through it, we want to remind you that taking care of your mental health begins with paying attention to your feelings and emotions. This is a reminder that regardless of age, everyone has the right to play, to create, to moments of sincere joy.
