

How to support yourself if loved ones are at the front: advice from the Ministry of Health

Ministry of Health provides simple tips that will help maintain emotional balance.It is absolutely natural to worry about a loved one during war. However, it is important to realize that you are also part of the support for your partner and should take care of your own resources so that your relationship does not turn into a heavy burden for both of you. Anxiety can arise from the impossibility of controlling or influencing what happens to a person close to you who is far away. It would be nice to try to control what is under your control:
- collect all possible help for your partner for his/her relative comfort;
- find out the unit number, name and contact details of comrades and commanders;
- agree on days when you can contact each other and a plan of action in case of loss of contact.
