in 2019, the world was shocked by the news that a 67-year-old resident of China successfully gave birth to a healthy daughter. It turned out that the woman did not even suspect pregnancy until her belly grew. She went to the hospital, where the doctors said that she would soon become a mother. There was no limit to the woman's surprise!
"The doctor said that I was pregnant. I didn't even believe that it was possible to get pregnant at my age."she told journalists.
Doctors were at least surprised by the age of the expectant mother and called the pregnancy a "miracle."
We note that the oldest "young mother" is a resident of India, who set a record in 2008, carrying and giving birth to two twins at the age of 70, but in this case the conception occurred thanks to IVF.
THE LONGEST LABOR LAST 75 DAYS
Joanna, a resident of Poland, gave birth to triplets for 75 days! And this is the longest family in the history of mankind. Labor began on the 22nd week of pregnancy. The baby who was born first, to a great tragedy, could not survive.
The doctors understood that they could lose the second two children as well, so they decided to suspend their birth. Medicatedly interrupted the woman's contractions, they placed her body at an angle of 30 degrees in a special position with her legs above her head. Thus, doctors reduced the risk of new contractions.
In this position, the heroic mother remained 24 hours a day and spent two and a half months in this position fighting for the life of her children. The result was worth it - after 75 days of labor, she gave birth to healthy children.

A WOMAN GOT PREGNANT FROM TWO MEN AT THE SAME TIME
In 2020, a Chinese woman gave birth to twins from different men after cheating on her husband. This was reported by the man himself, who made the discovery after conducting a DNA test of his newborn children. According to the test results, the wife cheated on him and conceived a child with someone else, but also simultaneously made the husband the father.
The birth of twins from different parents is a very rare case, known as superfecundation - the fertilization of two or more eggs from the same ovulation period by sperm from different males.

PREGNANCY LAST 17 MONTHS
In 2016, a Chinese woman entered the Guinness Book of Records due to the fact that her pregnancy lasted for 17 months.
The girl became pregnant in February 2015 — she was due to give birth in November. The baby was never born on time, and the expectant mother sounded the alarm. After the examination, the doctors decided that the baby was not yet sufficiently developed and decided to wait until he was ready to be born.
As a result, the wait lasted 17 months! The baby was born completely healthy and weighed 3800 grams. Later, doctors concluded that such a long pregnancy was caused by placenta previa, in which the placenta completely blocked the entrance to the cervix.

BIRTH AFTER DEATH
In 2016, a baby was born, whose mother died before birth. The sad and at the same time amazing story happened thanks to Polish doctors who managed to support the life of a woman for 55 days, who was diagnosed with brain death, but the heart continued to work. In order to save the child, doctors supported the work of the heart and vital functions with the help of a ventilator, powerful circulatory devices and an artificial kidney. Fortunately, the baby was born prematurely, but healthy.
"Usually we maintain these vital functions for a day or two, but here the task was to maintain these functions for several weeks until the fetus is capable of independent life. The fact that we got it is a real miracle. But this became possible thanks to modern equipment."- said the doctors then.
Such cases have happened before, but they are considered very rare. Doctors note that the chances of such babies are almost negligible, because the mother's internal organs gradually die, and the fetus can be poisoned by decay products.
