Even if the child needs surgery, the PDA vaccination should not be postponed if the child's condition is satisfactory. The same applies to the postoperative period, when vaccination can be carried out again, as soon as the child feels well. If the vaccination schedule was missed, it can be made up, providing protection against measles and other diseases.
It is important that parents do not postpone the vaccination of the PDA for a long time, thereby depriving the child of the necessary protection. Also, an unreasonable delay in vaccination after temporary contraindications can increase the risk of contracting measles or other diseases.
It is always important to consult with a medical specialist or pediatrician if you have any questions or doubts regarding the vaccination of the PDA. They will provide individualized advice based on your medical condition and history, and will be able to make the best decision for your health and the health of your child.
