How to restore healthy sleep in the conditions of war
1. Understand that the war can last a long time
You need to regain strength and keep calm. Your health, activity level and strength depend on your sleep.
2. Try to respond adequately to daily events
If you are constantly under stress, the restoration of the nervous system will be impossible. You should focus on the main thing — protecting your loved ones, your own mood, and your future. Do not lose hope and correctly analyze the information around you, then you will be able to improve your own sleep.
3. Remember that healthy sleep affects your ability to help
You will not be able to help someone if you are tired from lack of sleep. Constant stress and insomnia reduce our ability to respond to requests. Allow yourself to sleep so that later you will be active and strong enough. Think positively and believe in our victory, because the main goal of the enemy is to sow despondency in the hearts of Ukrainians. Our troops are winning because they are fighting for freedom, truth, independence and safety of their people. They know that the truth is on our side. And we must support this spirit!

The armed forces of Ukraine do everything for the safety of every citizen of the state.
Before going to sleep, it is recommended to have conversations, sing lullabies or read books to children. You can, for example, recall positive moments from the past, talk about the future or what you will do as soon as the war ends.
To treat sleep problems, doctors also recommend that adults take sedatives. Selective inhibitors are considered the best. Children and pregnant women can be given any plant-based sedatives.
