From children's drawings to real help: t-shirts that save animals

In Ukraine, a charitable collection of t-shirts Portraits of pets, created on the basis of children's illustrations, appeared. The goal of the initiative is to collect UAH 150 in support of the Kyiv Adopt Don't Stop shelter, where homeless animals are waiting for a new family.

The heroes are children and fluffies

Young artists from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Zhytomyr and the Kyiv region drew real animals from the shelter - those who need attention, care and a new home right now. Nine stories, nine faces, nine sincere, naive, but very eloquent portraits — all this is embodied in a series of T-shirts.

Who does the collection help?

Shelter Adopt Don't Stop takes care of homeless animals, accepts wards from de-occupied territories and combat zones, provides treatment and looks for responsible families for them. The sale of T-shirts will allow us to raise funds for food, medicine and the construction of the shelter.

Each thing is not just clothing, but a visual story about hope. Children's drawings remind us that animals are living creatures that feel, need protection and deserve a second chance.

A small concession is a big power

All children's drawings were purchased to create a collection. The idea was born from a popular advertisement where children were offered to draw their pets for a donation in order to make their dreams come true. This initiative turned into a full-fledged charity project supporting both children and animals.

Funds from the sale of the collection will be used for basic needs: food, medicine, sterilization, arrangement of enclosures. This is a contribution to the stability of the work of the shelter, which does not have state funding.

"We wanted to show that children can not just dream, but act. That their imagination and sincerity have the power to change life. For us, this is not just a drop, but something very personal."- say the organizers.
