WHAT TO COOK FROM BEETS

You will need:

  • beets — 200 g
  • sugar - 100 g
  • water - 1 l
  • lemon juice 1

Method of preparation

  1. Wash and clean the beets. Then grind the root crop on a grater, squeeze out the juice and leave it separately.
  2. Pour hot water over the squeezed grated beetroot and put it on the gas. Bring to a boil, and then cook on medium heat for another 10-20 minutes.
  3. Add lemon juice, sugar and squeezed beet juice to the compote. Bring to a boil.
  4. Allow the juice to cool, then strain and pour into a pitcher with ice.
