City cafe MONPARK this winter offers a rich program for the whole family. From December 25 to 29, open-air treats with delicious pancakes, cocoa, and mulled wine will be held here, and on December 26, guests will be treated to performances by philanthropists and musicians. The holiday program is designed for a joint holiday that will appeal to both adults and children.
The updated menu with affordable prices and lunches, which will start on December 16, complement the atmosphere of family comfort. Christmas decor with coniferous compositions, warm blankets and twinkling lights creates a cozy atmosphere, and a variety of author's dishes and desserts allows everyone to find something to their taste.
In addition, the institution supports the PAWS & PLAY initiative, aimed at helping animals affected by the war. MONPARK offers a special menu for four-legged friends, and part of the proceeds from each order is donated to the "12 Guardians" fund. Christmas City: a trip to the festive Kyiv of past centuries
This season, the Museum of the History of the City of Kyiv invites you to immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of the winter holidays of past eras at the exhibition "Christmas Garden. Kyiv of the 19th and 20th centuries". This project transports visitors to the times when Kyiv came to life in the glow of Christmas lights, and the aroma of festive treats wafted through the streets.The exposition consists of five thematic spaces.
Each of them reproduces the key elements of the celebration: a city skating rink, a cozy cafe-confectionery, the atmosphere of a tailoring workshop, theatrical life and festively decorated Kyiv houses.

The Polar Express: a Christmas trip through the Syretskyi Park
Kyiv children's railway opens the 2024-2025 holiday season with a launch Polar Express. This special train will give vivid impressions to children and adults who aspire to feel the spirit of Christmas and the magic of traveling amidst the winter landscape of Syretskyi Park.
The grand opening of the season took place on December 21 at 15:30 p.m. at the station square of the children's railway.

Winter fairy tale penguins at the Gulliver shopping center
This winter, the Gulliver shopping center has turned into a real penguin kingdom. Hundreds of these magical birds settled on different floors of the complex, creating an atmosphere of celebration and adventure. But behind this installation something more is hidden - it is part of Gulliver's collaboration with the National Antarctic Science Center.
An exhibition opened on the 2nd floor of the complex "Ukraine in the Antarctic: studies and invincibility". It invites visitors to the fascinating world of the Antarctic, where you can learn about the station "Akademik Vernadskyi" and its team, the research vessel "Noosphere", research into the climate and nature of the continent, the life of penguins, and the work of Ukrainian polar explorers.A special gift for visitors will be a lecture about penguins on December 20 at 18:30 on the 6th floor.
The participants of the event will be able not only to learn about the life of these birds, but also to communicate with researchers through a direct connection from the "Akademik Vernadsky" station.

On the "Cosmic rink" near the Respublika Park shopping center winter looks new and futuristic. The ice rink with an area of 1800 m² has been open since the end of November, and its main decoration is a unique mirror Christmas tree resembling a spaceship. Another feature of the location is an interactive arch through which you can skate.
For those who like to take pictures, thematic photo zones have been arranged on the territory: a tunnel at the entrance and picturesque corners directly on the ice rink.

"Mansion of Christmas Stories"
It opened in Petropavlovska Borshchagovka "Estate of Christmas Stories " — a place that fills winter holidays with the spirit of Ukrainian traditions and family comfort. Until January 15, visitors can enjoy a fabulous atmosphere with unique Christmas decorations, master classes and handmade products. Guests will be able to see a collection of Christmas decorations made of porcelain, straw and textiles, as well as purchase festive wreaths, stars and candles to create a cozy home.
They also offer to relax with a cup of aromatic coffee in a cozy cafe, enjoying the festive mood.The "Return of the Christmas Star" excursion will introduce guests to the ancient traditions of decorating Christmas trees. Within its framework, a master class on painting Christmas balls will be held, where everyone will be able to create their own decoration. For those who want to try something new, they organize master classes on making Christmas toys, candles and diduhovs.

"Elka Dobra" at the Ice Stadium
She got a job at the Ice Stadium near the Hippodrome metro station festive location "Elka Dobra". Here they opened the largest skating rink in Ukraine with an area of 6000 m².
This winter location creates a holiday atmosphere thanks to Christmas photo booths, fairy-tale installations, a fair with hot drinks, souvenirs and treats, as well as Santa's residence, where children can make their wishes.
A special feature of the project is a charitable initiative together with the "603.7" foundation, which is aimed at supporting children from the group of HIV/AIDS through the "Paruch Space" integration center. The goal of fundraising is to collect 1 million hryvnias. Thus, "Elka Dobra" not only gives the joy of winter holidays, but also unites people in good deeds.
