An educational portal for children about Internet safety has been launched in Ukraine

Almost half of children (44,8%) did not share an unpleasant situation that happened to them on the Internet, according to a study conducted in Ukraine among 4700 children aged 6-17. The public organization #stop_ѕехтинг presented an updated educational portal for children and teenagers, which will help to familiarize yourself with the topic of online risks and learn how to protect yourself in a game format. In addition, the portal describes the algorithm of actions for a child who has encountered problems on the Internet and provides contacts for help.

On the Online (select "Teen") children and teenagers can find answers to the most popular questions about safety on the Internet, for example, what to do if a child is asked to send revealing photos or videos, what to do if a child is blackmailed, how to remove an unwanted photo from the Internet, and many others.

For greater interactivity, the portal is presented short film about Internet safety "Online - Secrets of Open Kids", in which the pop group Open Kids and cartoon "Happy and her superpower" for younger site visitors.

In addition, by pressing the "Play" button, children and teenagers can download the world's first virtual reality about the safety of children on the Internet "(Non-)children's online relationships". In the quest, they can reproduce a story about a dangerous situation on the Internet step by step. During the trip to the virtual world, the child will be in the room of a teenager who has suffered from communication on the Internet, will be able to study his experience and, together with him, make a decision about further actions that can affect his entire life.

1. Children can ask for help by phone 1545 (then select "3") - calls are free and anonymous, the line works around the clock.
2. Will talk with a psychologist #stop_ѕехтинг confidentially and for free by phone or online. To receive support, you need to fill out a short form form.
3. Chat bot will help you learn the plan of action in various situations on the Internet and offer options for solving problems.
