Each work amazes with creativity, conscious and responsible attitude of children to the environment. The works demonstrate that the preservation of natural resources is the task of everyone, even the youngest generations, and for this it is enough to educate simple but important ecological rules that turn into useful habits. Students from different parts of Ukraine presented their own daily practices of environmental protection, such as sorting garbage, rational use of electricity and water, and presented their scientific developments in the field of wind and solar energy, etc.
"Now we have seen a high interest in the topic of the competition and good education of schoolchildren on the topic of natural resource conservation at their level. Of course, the judges will determine the best works according to the main criteria of the competition. But we are already grateful to the teachers and parents of the children for the high level of awareness and the formed responsible attitude of schoolchildren to the preservation of natural resources of Ukraine." — says Yulia Sokolova, marketing manager of Epson Europe BV representative office in Ukraine.
Now the works of the participants are evaluated by an expert jury, which are representatives of the scientific and educational spheres. Among them: Evgenia Aratovskaya, founder of Impact Business "Ukraine without garbage" and an expert in the field of waste management; Bailyak Maria, Doctor of Biological Sciences; Danyil Ganazhenko, methodologist of the EdEra online education studio; Bohdan Zavidovsky, teacher of natural sciences and specialist in biotechnology; Zasekina Tatiana, doctor of pedagogical sciences and senior researcher.
The results will be announced after March 25, 2024. According to the conditions, the three winning schools will receive a set of modern Epson technical equipment (printer, projector and document camera) for their classes.
