Association of Ukrainian art: the cultural art space opens the summer season

April 27 and 28 in Zhelany Garden at VDNKh updated cultural art space V'YAVA will be waiting for the first guests of the new season!

This year, V'YAVA will be amazing — it is scaling up and now includes not only music, but also others directions Ukrainian art.

"Ukrainian culture is a powerful force of our spirit today, during the war. It supports, unites, gives strength, hope, light and colors of life." - say the ideologues of the art space.

V'YAVA at VDNKh: charitable purposes

V'YAVA has a powerful charitable goal. This season, the art space team will collect the 3rd one for the needs separate assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the purchase of incubators for saving babies from front-line territories through United24 initiatives. In total, the goal is to collect 4 million hryvnias for charitable purposes.

What exactly will wait guests of the art space in the warm season

• —Expanded territory, updated with interesting art and two scenes. This season, the art space will be open at least 4-5 times a week.
• — Performances Ukrainian artists and groups of various genres, almost daily DJ sets and concerts by foreign musicians several times a month. All performances by foreign artists will be for charity. The funds from them will be used to purchase incubators for babies from the frontline territories.
• — Painting exhibitions of contemporary artists from different parts of Ukraine. Paintings will be available for purchase. The proceeds from the sale will be used for the needs of the 3rd separate assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
• — Expositions of works by sculptors, folk masters and other artists.
• — Screenings of Ukrainian cinema in the summer mini-cinema and theatrical performances.
• — Fairs of craft Ukrainian producers.
• — Updated locations for children, in particular a playground in the shape of a dinosaur by the architect and decorator Ivan Shpak.
• —Lecture hall with educational events, in particular on tactical medicine.
• — two updated sports grounds where you can play basketball, tennis, table tennis and FIFA. Own championships in these sports.
• — Vending machines with Pac-Man, Mortal Kombat, Sonic games.
• — New food courts with authentic Ukrainian dishes and delicacies from various world cuisines.

Summer V'YAVA: what will be the opening

At the opening of the art space, music of different genres from top Ukrainian artists will be played.

Ukrainian musician and producer Cepasa will be the headliner on April 27. Ego will be supported by the creative duo Gorim & Yuzvik.

On April 28, the musical and poetic project "Pirog and Knut" will appear on the stage of V'YAVA. They will play songs based on the poems of a number of iconic Ukrainian poets. Another headliners will be virtuoso jazzmen Aleksey Kogan and JAZZinKyiv.

In addition to the headliners, at the opening will perform and other artists and DJs, who will be announced soon.

In addition, on the occasion of the opening, the works of three Ukrainian artists and one art project will be exhibited. In particular, the works of graphic artist, painter and illustrator Alexei Revyka, researcher of Ukrainian ethnic visual codes CHIZZ Roman and author of patriotic murals Sergey Brylev will be shown. It will also be possible to see paintings-stories of the wives of fallen Heroes within the framework of the All-Ukrainian art project "ZHYVA".

From UYAVA to V'YAVA: from dreams to the unification of all art

V'YAVA is constantly evolving. Last season, the art space team, even deeper investigated Ukrainian language, decided to improve it the name itself: so UYAVA became V'YAVoy. "Apparition" is an authentically original form "imagination", denoting the ability of fantasy to be embodied in a real manifestation.

It was under the new name that the winter season of V'YAVA Stage passed powerfully. More than 30 concerts of top artists took place in it. During musical events, the space team closed the powerful gatherings in support of Armed Forces in the amount of 1 hryvnias.

Last year, UYAVA collected 2 hryvnias of donations for the needs of the National Guard at VDNKh, the 355rd separate assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the United24 initiative and migrant children. Therefore, all in favor two of the season, 3 hryvnias were collected.
