The Ronald McDonald House Foundation continues to support Ukrainian families during the war

Content
ToggleTogether with you, the Ronald McDonald House Foundation continues to help families of sick children in hospitals and those affected by the war.
Humanitarian aid to Kherson region
Tragedy at the Kakhovskaya HPP did not leave a single Ukrainian indifferent.
The Foundation sent to the victims through volunteer organizations 10 product sets.
Also reported motor pumps for draining liquids and special rubber ones semi-overalls.
The pump will help drain the flooded area and drain the contaminated liquid. Half coveralls will protect rescuers and residents of flooded areas from water and hypothermia.
"Product Sets" program
The humanitarian program "Product Kit" lasts more than a year. In May, we were able to help 5 families, and during the entire duration of the program — more than 840 for the sum of UAH 210. From the diary of volunteers through whom we deliver kits to the frontline regions:
"They loaded product sets. In the evening, they found an additional car and fuel. Woke up at 5 in the morning, checked out at 7, at 13:00 p.m — already in place. They came under heavy fire. We waited in a small shelter and went to make distributions. We got to know many people and saw the scale of human tragedies with our own eyes. Describe everything — no words are enough. It was the most difficult journey, but at the same time we drove home with pride and no regrets. Although we understand that they might not have returned from there alive."
The program would be impossible no support partners: volunteers McDonald's Ukraine; financial support Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ukraine; support services: Alpha-Pak, HAVI, Novaya Poshta; products: Nestlé Ukraine, Ronald McDonald House Foundation Romania, Dobrodia and all benefactors who leave a contribution on the site.
Family rooms of Ronald McDonald
Ronald McDonald's Five Family Rooms continue to give comfort and rest to sick children and their families in state children's hospitals in Lviv, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Sumy and Rivne. 5 600 times families visited the Family Rooms in May, and more than ever 170 times. Thanks to the rooms, children stay close to their parents, and even families can get away from the horrors of war for a while, rest, eat and spend the night if necessary.
Charity campaign "Hand of Happiness" at McDonald's
In support of Family Rooms, McDonald's started its legendary charity campaign "The palm of happiness." Everyone who buys in a chain of restaurants paper palm or Apple McPie, will help families of sick children to be close to them in hospitals. The program began symbolically on June 1 on Children's Day and will continue until June 30 in all McDonald's restaurants in Ukraine.
