What are the benefits of sleeping without clothes?
Scientists from the US National Sleep Foundation have found that every third American practices sleeping without clothes. Experts are sure that sleeping without clothes is extremely beneficial for health. For example, sleeping naked helps to reduce the level of the stress hormone cortisol. By the way, under the influence of this hormone, fat accumulates in the body, and this is a special type of fat that forms around the internal organs, which subsequently threatens heart disease and the development of diabetes.

The less cortisol is released during sleep, the greater this the hormone is used up during the next dayespecially during physical activity. And this is more beneficial for the body.
Scientists have clarified that the “material” from which cortisol is produced is also responsible for the production of the hormone testosterone. It is also useful to sleep without clothes for the production of growth hormone, and vice versa, if a person sleeps in clothes and often sweats, growth hormone is produced more slowly, which is why fat is also burned at a slower rate. This conclusion was reached by Dr. Michael Simons, a professor of physiology at the University of Nottingham, who specializes in the study of “brown fat” (a type of tissue in the body that protects against weight gain).

According to the specialist, "brown fat" is capable of producing 300 times more heat, unlike all internal organs. Therefore, if this type of fat can be activated for a longer period, a person will not need additional energy in the form of white fat. Therefore, sleeping without clothes is good for health, because the body temperature decreases.

The expert clarified that people who practice this type of sleep have a greater amount of "brown fat" than those who sleep in pajamas.
