Content
ToggleEaster crafts can be a great way for children and parents to have fun and be creative. In addition to dyeing eggs and decorating Easter cakes, you can make fun Easter crafts with your child.
We have prepared 12 ideas for Easter crafts for both toddlers and older children! Let's get creative!
Sponge prints
With young children, you can make this applique using brown paper and colored prints. To do this, you will need to cut an egg-shaped stamp out of foam rubber, then dip it in gouache or watercolor of different colors, and then leave a mark on the paper.
It is not necessary for the egg to be the same color; you can apply several shades to the sponge at once, or paint it with stripes.

Easter boxes
We are sure that you have empty cardboard egg boxes at home. Don't rush to throw them away. They will be a great entertainment for your child and later a beautiful container for Easter eggs. This project requires only a few moments: a good mood and imagination. Decorate the boxes with the desired colors and patterns, put some wood shavings in them and lay out the finished Easter eggs.

Potato prints
For a child aged 1-1,5 years, you can suggest making a bright Easter drawing with potato prints. To do this, cut the potato into 2 parts, and cut stripes, zigzags or another pattern on one of the halves.
Let there be 5-6 such halves with different patterns, then the baby can take turns dipping the “stamps” into the paint and making a drawing on the paper in the form of painted eggs.

If the child already knows how to use a brush, you can paint the halves in different colors, and then the prints will become even brighter and more original.

Drawing with corks
If you and your child want to make a simple but interesting Easter craft, you will need some old wine corks. Draw the outline of an egg with your child, and then paint the egg with bright spots from the corks.
Use a separate cork for each color to avoid mixing the colors. You don't have to create a pattern with stripes, you can experiment and create a chaotic pattern.

Easter decoration with pompoms
This Easter craft may not be suitable for all children because of the patience and time required. However, for curious children aged 3-5, this is a great idea! A three-year-old can actively help their mother create such Easter decorations with pompoms, and children aged 5-6 can do them on their own with parental guidance.

Easter wreath
For an interesting craft, you will need a lot of floss threads, from 20 to 25 skeins. Prefer beautiful pastel shades. Then you need to prepare a starch bath: mix 1/2 cup of flour with 1 cup of liquid starch.
Next, take the balloons and inflate them slightly before filling them to the desired size. Dip one skein of floss into the starch mixture, carefully unrolling it. The next step is to wrap the balloon with thread, removing any excess liquid. One skein should be enough for one balloon. After that, leave the first product to dry and work on the other decorations for the wreath.
When all the eggs are dry (it is better to wait until the next day), burst the balloons. But before that, move them a little away from the dried threads. Then, using threads or glue, connect the Easter eggs from the threads so that a circle is formed. The Easter wreath is ready!
