Friends, whether it is safe or not is what government officials tell us, in particular the mayor of the city or governor of the region you live in. I remember Arestovych's words that "due to possible enemy shelling, there are no safe cities in Ukraine."

This is true, but what do I, as an evidence-based medicine doctor, believe in? That's right, in statistics. Medical statistics is a science that studies the health (and mortality) of the population depending on socio-economic, sanitary-hygienic, cultural, and medical-biological factors.

Without diagrams, tables, and exact numbers, let's roughly take the category of "young healthy citizens" and look at the statistics - how many died from missiles? How many died from accidents? We don't take illness and age into account.

For example, just on May 7, in Lviv, a 17-year-old boy fell from the balcony of a high-rise building and died. Then I asked Google about the photo.

As you can see, the probability of dying from a cruise missile is less than or about the same as dying from a car.

Shall I mention some more words of Arestovych?

"We need to gradually get used to living like in Israel." I once lived in Israel (for as long as 9 months?), I will forever remember an incident when my friends and I were walking to Jaffa (a district in Tel Aviv) at night and saw a man walking with a knife in his hands. We then called the police. Do you know how many terrorist attacks there have been in Jerusalem, in holy places? Google it.

Therefore, the task of peaceful residents of Ukraine is to follow all instructions from the authorities regarding possible sabotage and NOT IGNORE AIR ALARM. This saves lives!
